
For over 20 years, John K. Lee has been assisting thousands of individuals and corporations in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is experienced in planning personal finances, including the areas of tax, investment, retirement, insurance and estate planning.
John is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) licensee, which required lengthy course study and a rigorous Board examination process proving his comprehensive knowledge of personal financial issues. John is also a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). Only CPAs are allowed to take the technical PFS exam given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. There are only about 4,000 CPAs across the nation holding the PFS designation.
John is a well-known financial educator. His seminars on various financial planning topics have been widely attended by the public. John helps his clients avoid the common financial mistakes made by most people in the areas of investment, retirement planning and estate planning. He helps his clients cut down their taxes, reduce or avoid taxes on Social Security income, reduce or avoid unnecessary estate taxes, and protect their estate values. He combines his investment strategies with clients’ tax considerations, helping to enhance their after-tax rewards.
John graduated from University of San Francisco with a B.S. Degree in Accounting, and an MBA Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. John is a founder of the Trans Pacific National Bank in San Francisco and was a member of the Board of Directors for the bank for 23 years.
John has lived with his wife in the Bay Area for over 30 years, along with their two children. Besides his profession of helping people build wealth, he is also very active in the community.
